Creator of Oliver’s Wild Animal Adventures

Tracy Spencer’s journey as a children’s author began with her son.

Like many children, he rarely went anywhere without a stuffed animal tucked under his arm. Watching him move through the world with curiosity, imagination, and complete confidence reminded her what imagination looks like before life teaches us to quiet it.

Somewhere along the way, her own imagination had grown a little quiet. Watching her son rediscover the world helped her rediscover it too.

That spark eventually became Oliver’s Wild Animal Adventures—stories inspired by the boundless imagination of childhood, where a child, a stuffed animal, and a sense of wonder can turn any moment into an adventure.

When she’s not writing, Tracy can usually be found exploring the outdoors, spending time with her family, or dreaming up Oliver’s next adventure.

Tracy currently lives in Winthrop Maine, with her husband and son, and is actively developing multiple titles in the Oliver’s Wild Animal Adventures series in preparation for publisher submission.
